God Has a Plan for Your Life

Holy Spirit inside me, and direct my life from now on. Amen.

As Corrie ten Boom once said, "There is no pit so deep that God is not deeper still." Get involved with a Bible-believing church, pray to God, study the Bible, and obey what Jesus wants you to do. In a sense we are all stuck in a hole, called this old life, and God wants to bring us to a new life, and push us up to heaven.

"But it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, No have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Cor 2:9 (NKJV)

God Has a Plan for Your Life

'' I was a small child, about five years old, and I did not know how to swim. I walked down to the cement drainage pond and was looking at a hole. As I squatted down, I fell in! The water was a dirty, yucky green. I even remember seeing a small fish swimming in the water and looking at me as I was going down.

'' As I was going down, down, down I recall thinking at that young age, "Well, this is how I'm going to die." As I was going down to my death, then suddenly I was going up, up, up, right back to the very spot where I fell in. A neighbor lady from the apartments near by and my friend pulled me out of the hole.

'' What pushed me up? I couldn't touch the bottom but something out of nowhere pushed me up and rescued me from certain death. God had me pulled up. When I got out I was crying over the shock. I easily could have died right then and there. But God had a plan for my life.

'' God has a beautiful plan for your life too. Allow Him to do that. God speaks to you both in His Word the Bible, and by His Spirit. Follow Him. His ways are not your ways, but His ways are better. No matter what God tells us to do, just please do it!! God does not contradict Himself. So if it contradicts what He said in the Bible, then it is not God, but a lying spirit. When something is from God don't talk yourself out of obeying God, just do it. You'll avoid regret, even years of regret.

'' If you have fallen down into a dirty green hole in life, and you can't seem to swim out of it yourself, let this be a start of God pushing you up. He wants to clean you up, because He has a wonderful plan for your life.

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Rom 10:9 (NKJV)
